Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This policy covers the private Instagram Comment Automation operated for the professional Instagram account @gizmodotech.

Information processed

When Meta sends an eligible comment webhook, the application may process the comment ID, Reel or post ID, comment text, Instagram username/account identifier when supplied by Meta, event timestamps, configured keywords, reply text, delivery status, and Meta API error information.

How the information is used

Storage and retention

The application stores automation rules, aggregate statistics and a limited recent event history on the operator's server. Event history is capped by record count in the current version. Hosting logs and backups can have separate retention rules controlled by the hosting provider/operator.

Sharing

The application communicates with Meta/Instagram APIs and the hosting provider required to run this service. It does not sell commenter information.

Security

Administrative routes are access-controlled. Production deployments can validate Meta webhook signatures using the app secret. Access tokens and app secrets are server-side configuration and should never be sent by commenters.

Deletion and privacy requests

See the Data Deletion Instructions. You can also contact @gizmodotech with the words Privacy request.

Changes

This policy may be updated when the application, hosting, or data practices change.
